Cargo Capacity

Powertrain Options
Grand Highlander offers three different powertrains to give you a drive that fits your family best. A proficient 2.4L turbocharged engine that has 265 hp, a 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid engine that has 245 net combined hp and a Hybrid MAX engine that has 362 net combined hp—each delivering a quality blend of performance and efficiency.
*Crawl Control is designed for driving on difficult terrain at low speeds and assists the driver by controlling acceleration and braking, allowing the driver to focus on steering. See Owner’s Manual for additional limitations.
Towing Capacity
When you want to bring more along for the ride, Grand Highlander is up for the task. Grand Highlander Hybrid MAX and gas powertrains have up to a 5000-lb. towing capacity, while Hybrid’s powertrain has up to 3500 lbs. of towing capacity.*
*Never tow beyond a vehicle’s published towing capacities. Before towing, confirm your vehicle and trailer are compatible, hooked up and loaded properly and that you have any necessary additional equipment. The maximum you can tow depends on base curb weight plus the total weight of any cargo, occupants, and added vehicle equipment. Follow all instructions in your Owner’s Manual.
Wi-Fi Connect
When you enable available Wi-Fi Connect, * you can turn your Grand Highlander into a hotspot with 4G connectivity. This feature allows up to five devices to stay connected to favorite apps for work or play while conserving battery power and data for every device. With Integrated Streaming, you can connect to your Apple Music® * and Amazon Music * subscriptions, giving you access to your personalized playlist. Wi-Fi Connect, with up to 3 GB within the included 30-day trial. Subscription required after trial. * 4G network dependent.
