There's a lot of Toyota action going on inside our United States walls. So much so, in fact, that by the end of this year the busy automaker will produce its 25 millionth American-made vehicle. This milestone is especially inspirational considering Toyota is a comparatively young car manufacturer and is based in Japan.

As one of the automaker's most prized offspring, the Toyota Prius has received heaping helpings of attention over the past few years. Most recently, its latest child, the Prius c has held the spotlight as urban-dwelling consumers prepared for its debut. Finally, the wait is over and the Prius "city" is available for all the world to see.

Sometimes auto reviewers can be easily swayed in their decisions. Consumer Reports, however, does not fall under that category. The revered magazine provides an extremely objective view on the latest models and offers up candid criticism as well as praise. Taking that information into consideration Jaffarian Toyota feels a sense of pride in knowing that the critics bestowed a "recommended review" upon the 2012 Toyota Camry.

Sometimes even the most popular models need a makeover and so it is with the Toyota Land Cruiser. Since its inception, the Land Cruiser has earned itself respected staying power and reliability. Now, the SUV model has earned itself a fantastic new look.

Gathering an award from Kelley Blue Book (KBB) is not a feat to be taken lightly. This is especially so when the accolades highlight an automaker's entire collection of models. Such is this case with Toyota and its recent acquisition of the top brand title in Kbb.com's "Best Resale Value Awards."

For a while now, word on the street whispered slightly somber messages of plant destruction and production halt. Toyota Motor Manufacturing, West Virginia, Inc. (TMMWV) first opened its doors in 1996. Now, 15 years later, the plant has grown substantially. Over the course of producing roughly 8.6-million transmissions for Toyota vehicles, the plant's workforce has quadrupled, growing from roughly 250 workers to over 1,000 today.
