When you think of a new Toyota what comes to mind? We at Jaffarian Toyota think mostly of dependability and durability. But, we know all too well that not everyone is looking for the same thing when it comes to cars. And in 2012 with gas prices the way they are, one thing on everyone's mind is fuel economy.

Hardly anyone could doubt Toyota's commitment to environmental consciousness. After all, the Japanese automaker is the brains behind the Toyota Prius. But, did you know that there's now another new player on the Toyota hybrid team?

That's right, Toyota is introducing the all-new 2013 Toyota Avalon available in both gasoline and hybrid powertrains. The V6 version features a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 268 horsepower and 248 lb.-ft. of torque. With a six-speed automatic transmission it's expected to run 25 miles per gallon combined.

 

The 2013 Avalon Hybrid is the first-ever premium mid-size hybrid and comes equipped with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and features the newest advancements in Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive technology. The Avalon Hybrid is estimated at 40 miles per gallon combined and includes an electronic-continuously variable transmission.

On the exterior, the redesigned 2013 Avalon features a striking exterior which is complemented by a luxurious and spacious interior.
