Toyota will introduce Toyota Tacoma T/X Baja Edition at Jaffarian Toyota in Haverhill in 2012.

"It's the type of truck that will shine in a Texas ranch environment, or on a Midwest hunting trip, off the highway in a California desert, or anywhere, east or west, where the roads are rugged," said Toyota division boss Bob Carter at its unveiling at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas.¹

Tacoma Baja rides two inches higher than a stock model, and on large coil springs and racing shocks in the front and rear suspension. It also includes electronically controlled locking rear differential, Active Traction Control, Hill Start and Downhill Assist Controls. Baja Edition also comes with BF Goodrich T/A KO tires wrapped around off-road wheels in a gunmetal gray and Baja Series graphics.

T/X Baja Series will be available on the Tacoma Access Double Cab 4-by-4 models equipped with TRD Off-Road Package. The truck will have a limited run of 2 months in Spring, 2012.
